If your fans have been telling you that G HUB sucks to the point where one of the top posts on this subreddit made a meme out of that, then I shouldn't have to tell you that this software sucks. Clearly, I'm wrong, and Logitech won't bat an eye to another post about why G HUB is worse than LGS. You would think that for a company that uses everyday computer peripherals, their own workers would experience these things themselves. Problems listed in this subreddit have been occurring for the general consumer and clearly Logitech either doesn't care or does not listen to their buyers. I'm convinced Logitech doesn't use their own software frequently, or better yet, doesn't use it at all. Logitech is extremely lucky that their hardware department does phenomenal work with their gear, otherwise if they were known for their software they would've gone under years ago. I was playing World War Z, and spent 20 minutes looking for the file, adding it to G HUB, and doing the same thing again and again, when it could have all been done in less than 2. Why do I have to scroll down a list of keys, where I can just simply input the key myself? If I have to constantly adjust every profile for every single game I add, why not make it easier for the user? Is that not the whole purpose of software in general? Does Logitech even use their own software? Or is it just made by Graphic Designers and Programmers, assigned by a bunch of no-clue managers? Just like in other games or software, assigning keys should be no problem. That's like taking something fundamental, such as wheels off a car, and just running with it. Meanwhile in LGS, it copied your default profile onto the new game added.Įxplain to me why that feature was removed. Every time I add a game, I have to carefully navigate to the DPI section and delete these extra tabs. First of all, almost nobody uses anything higher than 1500. I don't understand why the default is 1200 dpi, with additional 2400, 3600, and 6400. This is incredibly incredibly annoying to deal with every time I add a game. Once I find the game, then the second problem occurs. This is especially nightmare inducing for someone who has multiple hard drives like me, and I have to manually look for install directories just to find the executable. LGS had a feature to add games that are currently running in the background so you can quickly set up your own macros. exe file every damn time the program can't find the game I'm running. I don't know who decided to cut out some key features from LGS, but I want to highlight some things that make it an absolute nightmare to use.įirst, I hate having to find the.
