Overall good game and port, needs some major bugs and issues resolved, and Aspyr should stop treating their customers like an unwanted stepchild. Aspyr tech support makes PC world seem like a cusomer services nirvana! I think I will be asking apple for a rfund, shame, I love the game, even with the minor bugs, but the customer services is atrocious. not only did the chat clnet hang up on me several times, when i finally managed to speak to somebody they were not only useless, but actualy quite rude! I decided to try Aspyr tech support, what a cardinal error that was. The second issue is with the scrolling, eery tme i scroll left with the track pad, the screens then keeps scrolling left, this usally happens during pivotal moments during the game, such as when 5 overload tanks come strolling by, or after a sneak attack. The main issue for me the game failed to load from a saved copy, which meant i either had the finish the current mission, or start toally over, this was for the solo campaigns, the skirmishes worked fine. After a month or so playing the game, for hours on end, i have noticed a few bugs. I was so exicted CnC generals finally came to the mac natively. I think this would be much more intuitive way to control the game rather than having to drag your mouse from edge to edge, which was probably fine back then, but could definitely be improved with today's Apple input devices. I'd love for Apsyr to add this to the Mac version in a future update if possible. The same goes with any hot corners, which I had to disable to play this game.Īnd what I keep finding myself actually trying to do instinctively use my touch scrolling on my Magic Mouse to try and scroll through the map. One thing I'm having issues with is the menu bar consistently pops up when you have to move the mouse up to the top of the screen to scroll the map up, resulting in an annoying split second hiccup while the menu bar animates.
